Matchy-Matchy is Back!

We have spent a couple of seasons wrapping our heads around mis-matching our clothes... Mixing prints and clashing colours, combining spots and tartan and pairing a pink blouse with red trousers! Well, now that we've finally got it, it seems that matchy-matchy has become acceptable again. Wouldn't our Grandmother's be pleased as they would not have been caught dead leaving the house without perfectly matched shoes and bag and now this hot, new trend is here to remind us that some classics live on.

A nod to no-rules-fashion, this time around it's far more flexible, you can go excessively co-ordinated or simply match your nails to your shoes. It's an old school concept that can seem a little 'country-club' but there is no disputing a very polished look when done well. It also sits well psychologically because harmony and cohesion is naturally appealing to our human psyches. The overall effect is a very elegant, pulled together look that visually makes sense.

It is no surprise that this trend resonates with us. We enjoy the idea of creating tasteful looks that stand the test of time, reinforcing a vintage feeling of quality and well-thought out style. That is why we have introduced a new range of belts and bags which are available in selected stores and online. The perfect match to some of our favourite shoe styles.

Good styling returns time and again and don't you wish your mom and grandmother kept some of the gorgeous retro pieces you see in their old photos? We are all for de-cluttering and simplifying our lives but are drawing the line at throwing away classic, handcrafted products. Your daughters will thank you one day for leaving behind your fashion legacy. Invest in beautiful things and let them live a long and full life!

Give matchy-matchy a try... It feels good. It feels right.

Hello. I’m a Pesso Shoe fan.
I have a few pairs and support our sho connection shop at N1.
6 months ago I bought a pair of pink pesso sneakers with Pearl buttons. After wearing three times the one pearl button came off. Now I just wear them at home. Is there a way I could collect a button from somewhere as they were quite a lot of money.R1699.

    My number is 0764301513
